Former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley announced her 2024 presidential campaign on Tuesday in a video.
She is now the second Republican to seek the party’s nomination after former President Donald Trump.
Haley, a former United Nations Ambassador under Trump, opened her campaign video by reflecting on her childhood.
“I was the proud daughter of Indian immigrants. Not black, not white, I was different. But my mom would always say your job is not to look at the differences but the similarities,” she said.
“Republicans have lost the popular vote in seven out of the last eight presidential elections. That has to change,” Hayley said in the video. “It’s time for a new generation of leadership.”
Calling out America’s biggest foreign threats, Hayley also said China is committing a “genocide” and Iran is “murder[ing] their own people for challenging the government” through protests.
“China and Russia are on the march. They all think we can be bullied, kicked around. You should know this about me. I don’t put up with bullies. And when you kick back, it hurts them more if you’re wearing heels,” she said.
Talking about domestic policy, Hayley pledged to be fiscally responsible and secure the border.
Hayley has teased running for the GOP nomination for months, using her signature line that she’s “never lost an election.”

WHAT is wrong with the American people. Nikki Haley is NOT A NATURAL BORN CITIZEN. I don’t care if she walks on water. She is NOT ELIGIBLE to be President or VP. BOTH of her parents were foreigners when she was born on US soil which makes her an anchor baby. There is a difference between being a citizen and a NBC and she does not fit the bill. Anyone that votes for this globalist war monger is part of the reason why we will see our country go down in flames. WAKE UP! Believe me she knows she is not eligible just like Kamala Harris knows she is not eligible. Both Kamala’s parents we foreign students in the US on a TEMPORARY student visa. Kamala is also an anchor baby. I do not want hear the NBC requirement no longer holds ice water since Obama was elected. No, sorry. It only applies when Americans allow them to get away with ignoring the Constitution.
